Child Representation

When Faber & Trouse represent a child, that child is top priority. They get a sense of who they are, what they like, and how they see their family. A position in the case is informed by what the child wants, school and medical records, family member interviews, and what best fits the child’s needs.

Sandy Faber has been representing children for over 15 years and is a zealous advocate for the child’s best interest. She understands that an outsider will always have difficulty truly grasping the dynamics of another person’s family, and she reviews absolutely anything she can review to understand the family she is working with. While she works hard with the family to attempt to reach settlement, if the matter proceeds to trial she is not a passive participant. She assures that the witnesses and evidence needed to promote her client’s best interests are presented at trial.

Jon went above and beyond to answer our questions and empower us to do our own research. He was receptive to the evidence we put forward in our very emotionally trying case. He reassured us through some very difficult experiences, always with a balanced approach and considering the safety of our daughter.
